Community guidelines
How to take part in conversations on the Knowledge Hub.
On this page
Be kind
Treat everyone with respect: patients, caregivers, doctors and our team. Abuse and personal attacks are not published.
Keep personal medical details private
Comments are public. Do not share names, phone numbers, reports, scans or hospital records, yours or anyone else's.
No individual medical advice
A comment cannot replace a consultation. Do not ask for, or give, advice about a particular person's diagnosis or treatment. For help with your own care, use Get support or chat with HOPE AI (opens in a new tab).
No promotion or spam
Do not promote products, brands, hospitals or paid services, and do not post links to them.
No misleading health information
Do not share claims about cancer or its treatment that evidence does not support.
Respect privacy
Do not post anything about another person without their consent.
How moderation works
- Our team checks every comment before it appears.
- If your comment is not published, we tell you why.
- People who keep breaking these guidelines may be stopped from commenting.
Reporting
